Belarus will conclude agreements on visa-free travels with Turkey, Brazil and Argentina, Head of the Central Consular Office of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Alyaksandr Astrousky told the Contours program on the ONT TV channel.
“We are ready to sign agreements on short-term visa-free travels for up to 30 days with Turkey. The document is ready and will be inked when the work on the readmission agreement is completed,” Alyaksandr Astrousky said.
Negotiations on visa-free travels for up to 90 days using regular passports are underway with Argentina and Brazil. The visa topic is also discussed with Israel. “We also consider starting visa talks with a number of other countries. We are guided by the principle of reciprocity taking into consideration political, economic, humanitarian aspects of the bilateral relations,” Аstrousky said.
In his words, Belarus does not deem it necessary to simplify visa regulations with most of the countries of the world. People coming to Belarus on business for the period of up to 30 days only need to submit an application, a photo, and a passport to a diplomatic mission and pay a consular fee. No invitation is needed.
